School Outreach

Children/teens experience a major disruption in their lives after the death of a loved one and the school may be a safe and caring environment in which the child can return to after a death. Therefore, school personnel have an opportunity to play a major role in making a difference in the life of a grieving child, but oftentimes are at a loss as to how to do so.

Common Ground Grief Center offers school In-Service presentations for personnel to educate them in  understanding how children/teens grieve, the needs of the grieving child/teen  and how school personnel can support them without taking more time out of their already busy day.

Presentations are 1.5 hours or 3 hours.
